It Took a New Book Binding to Restore My Aunt’s Damaged Classic

A week ago, my dog Max and I were out to my great-aunt’s home for a little visit. I try to get in to see the old lady every month or so because I know that she lives alone with her books and cats and gets pretty lonely. While she and I were having tea in the kitchen, Max went into her living room, found an old classic on the coffee table and mistook the leather binding for a piece of rawhide. When I called him out to the kitchen to leave with me, he had a piece of the cover in his mouth. I was horrified. Thankfully, a new Book Binding has restored the book and settled Aunt Nell’s anxiety. Max will not be invited to visit again.
