The best room humidifier for your bedroom

Those suffering from dry rooms in the house are all too familiar with humidifiers and what they do. Many do not think about the noise these units can create. Normally this will not really affect you if you are not always in that room or if you don’t need that room to be perfectly quiet. In the case of your bedroom where you sleep, you will want the best room humidifier that is also quiet! If it keeps waking you up at night then it might be maintaining humidity levels, but its hurting you in another way. For these situations, you will want to try an ultrasonic humidifier, as they tend to be the quietest humidifiers available on the market
To the original poster or one above, do you have any recommendations for which brand of ultrasonic humidifier you have tried? I was looking at the Air-O-Swiss AOS Ultrasonic Humidifier on the Amazon web site. It looks like it would fit my situation. Anyone with experience with it?
In contrast to the other poster, this article hit it on the head in my case. I need one in my bedroom and I am a very light sleeper. The slightest noise or creek will wake me up. I will check out some ultrasonic models.
I agree you would want a quiet one for the bedroom, but in my case it didn’t really matter. I sleep like a rock and hardly hear the alarm going off in the morning. My humidifier is a cheaper one and is a bit noisy, but it does not affect my sleep at all. I guess I’m lucky in that way.
