We’ve lived in our home for a little over ten years now, and the window blinds are starting to look a little worse for wear. We’re planning on replacing them, but we just haven’t been able to decide what type to get. The current ones are aluminum blinds, which are easy to maintain but really not that attractive. We’re thinking of either wood or faux wood vertical blinds, but we’re not sure how much more work they’re going to need (if any). Have you got any suggestions? We want something that will last for several years, and will be in style for a while, in case we decide to sell the house anytime soon.
