If you are a homeowner, you will always have that little part of your mind worrying about security.  A very quick and easy step to take is to introduce outdoor security lighting.

You may be of the opinion that lighting is not as good as an alarm system and that is probably true, but lighting is the first step to warn off intruders.  It indicates a property where there might be an alarm system as well. This is always a good tactic.  Do be sure to light an area carefully and not create black spots where the light is so strong that adjacent areas are suddenly darkened.  In other words the light doesnt have to be exceptionally bright.  Outdoor security lighting is an inexpensive start to home security.
