Occasionally when I turn on my water faucet the water has a putrid scent.  I live in the country and therefore do not have city water.  A friend of mine worked in the water filtration industry and I remember hearing how well water can have a sulfur or rust smell.  Frankly, my water has both.  I think I need to invest in a heavy duty filtration system in order to fix the issues.  Water filters I know make a huge difference in improving the drink ability of the tap water.  I know people who really love their reverse osmosis systems.  I have considered investing in these and will most likely do it when we can get some money freed up.
