Tips

  • One of the fastest growing professions is that of landscape architect.
  • Landscape designers get paid varying salaries depending on where they work, however the pay is quite consistent to the level of education and training required.
  • The tasks of a landscape architect are not always performed outdoors like you might think. If you’re looking for a career where you spend a lot of time in the sun, horticulture is a good job choice for you.
  • If you are interested in landscape designer jobs, you can start preparing for your career as early as high school by studying advanced math, horticulture and drafting.
  • The least you can expect before able to get your foot in the door is four years of college education and an internship with a professional landscaping design firm or professional.

I love my garden. It is the best thing I Ever did. It is so relaxing to just go out and pick my own vegtables or grow my own roses. I highly recommend people that are stressed to consider a garden.
