If you are in the process of remodeling or building a Home, I found that it is worth looking into the new flexible solar collection panels coming on the market. Just think how much power you could generate from the roof of your house if you could turn it into one giant solar collector and still do all the things that a roof is supposed to do such as keep everything in the house protected and dry.  The seem to cost a little more, but I am tired of being at the mercy of the utility companies in my area.
