4 wheel scooters

Posted by Charissa,

My aunt just purchased one of those 4 wheel scooters the other day. She got so used to using the ones that Walmart has for their shoppers. She said she got a lot of her dignity back being able to get around on her own. The only problem with the ones at the store was that she was always running down the batteries and then the store personnel would have to come and rescue her. I can just here the call over the loudspeaker, “scooter disabled on isle 24” LOL. That would be an embarrassing episode for her being how she is over weight and is very conscious about the way that impedes anyone’s ability to help her… it takes at least two people to lift her and move her.

Yep. The salesmen at the company you call will do all the work to get you a free mobility scooter because if they don’t make the sale then they don’t make any money. Enough said about that!

Yea, that is pretty easy I hear. Just let the salesmen do all the work in getting you a free scooter. I am sure they will be happy to put in the leg work. After all, they will be the ones making a sale.

Just call one of those companies on the web. Just go to a search engine and type in the term free scooter or something like that. Then just call one of those companies and talk to them.

I heard you might be able to get one of those scooters paid for by your insurance company if you can prove that you really need it. How would you go about finding out how to be eligible for this?

Right. If they do not have a handicapped tag hanging in their vehicles then they should not be able to use one of those scooters, they should be reserved fro someone who actually needs them.

Well this looks as if it turning out to be a public rant so I will go ahead and put in my two cents, for what it is worth… if anything. If these people do not have a handicapped placard, stay out.

I agree with that observation. Some of these people are just plain lazy and want everyone to feel sorry for them. They probably suck up every public aid program and dollar that they can legally – or illegally garner from the various government agencies.

I personally makes me mad to see people in the store using one of those scooters not because they are handicapped but because they are fat and lazy. If they would get up off their fat asses and do something with their lives they might lose some weight and want to move around a bit.
